Kaleigh started practicing Ashtanga yoga in 2007. Throughout her 20s, she faced mental health struggles and an eating disorder, but found healing through studying Ayurveda, traveling, and practicing Vipassana meditation alongside Ashtanga Yoga.
Kaleigh is an artist specializing in photography and documentary film, driven by the mantra "we are all the walking wounded" and a passion for selfless service. She believes in using art and storytelling to promote consciousness and compassion.
She co-hosts wellness retreats, runs a mobile coffee cart called LOVE Cafe, and works with reentry organizations, using storytelling to break stigmas for the previously incarcerated. Additionally, she volunteers at a detention facility, guiding meditation for individuals in custody.
Kaleigh openly shares her story to inspire hope in others. Ashtanga Yoga was her guiding light, and she feels privileged to share this transformative practice with you.

Ben began his spiritual pursuits in 2009 first studying Chinese Bagua and Daoism.
In 2010 he began practicing Ashtanga yoga and has studied and apprenticed extensively with his root teachers here in Milwaukee, as well as with Liza DiGaetano while living in San Diego. In 2015 he began studying Classical Tantra in the Kasmiri Saiva tradition with his primary acharya, Christopher “Hareesh” Wallis. While Ashtanga is the primary vehicle for health and well being of the body, Ben attributes a synthesis of Ashtanga with the practices and teachings of Nondual Saiva Tantra to leading to ever deeper levels of awakening and joy, and a true sense of the ultimate nature of reality coupled with fun and welcoming both life and spiritual practice with humor, dedication, and ease fulness.
May we practice together in love and gratitude, for the liberation of all beings. OM!!

Ashtanga yoga has been Mary’s near constant companion for the last 8 years. It did not take long for her to recognize the value of the Ashtanga system, which helps practitioners stoke their inner fire to increase vitality, endurance, and deeper connection to themselves and others.
Seeking more beyond the repetition of Bikram hot yoga, in 2015 she found an Ashtanga shala up the street from her home in Bay View, WI. Here, she and her partner would spend 5 years practicing under the guidance of authorized teachers. Her most cherished experience was maintaining a steady practice throughout her third pregnancy, during which Mary learned how to adapt the sequence to safely accommodate her baby and changing body.
In 2022 she completed a 200YTT training under rebel Ashtangi Samantha Lowe (née Vetrano) of Bodhi Yoga Academy LLC out of Boulder, Colorado. Mary specifically chose this program because of the heavy focus on the shadow side and commodification of Westernized Vinyasa yoga.
Over years of steady yoga practice, Mary continues to chip away at her survival shell to begin building a stronger relationship with her inner authentic self. In shining the light of loving acceptance on what we fear, we invite the transformation of would-be opposition into a greater sense of personal freedom and empowerment.
Learning-obsessed, Mary is currently working to complete her undergraduate degree from Mount Mary University in Apparel and Fashion Design. No matter the weather, you can usually find her exploring the Lake Michigan coastline with her family and dog.
Michael came to Ashtanga yoga in his early 40s, after many years as a runner and cyclist. He’d dabbled in other styles of yoga over the years, but it never clicked. Ashtanga drew him in with its meditative aspects, as well as the physical metamorphosis that a dedicated daily practice reveals over time.

Michael started practicing Ashtanga a month before the COVID shutdown. Since Zoom was the only option, he began practicing online at Ashtanga Yoga Columbus, under the guidance of Taylor Hunt. He is currently immersed in a year-long mentorship with Hunt.
When he’s not studying or doing Ashtanga, Michael will most likely be found at a climbing gym somewhere in the midwest with his family.
